Hold my pumpkin spice latte and grab a cozy blanket, it’s time to talk Fall home decor (does it get any better than that?!) The season that feels as snug as watching your favorite episode of Friends for the 300th time and turns everything possible into “pumpkin spice” is upon us!
Here’s how to make your home as cozy as the season!
Dried florals – Give me all the dried florals (since I kill most flowers and plants within days)! Fall is the best time to incorporate this into your home whether it’s in wreath form, faux potted flowers or a dried floral arrangement in a pretty vase
Stacks of books – think the bookstore in “You’ve got mail” vibes (could a movie get any more Fall than that by the way?) Stack books on bookshelves, end tables and nightstands! Top with a candle and decorative beads if needed.
Turn up the texture – time to put away the light linens and pull out the chunky throw blankets, velvety couch pillows, faux fur rugs (and splurge on that new leather arm chair). Changing up the textures in your home will immediately take your aesthetic from blah to Fall-elujah! Some of my favorite places to shop include Anthropologie, Target, and World Market.
Load up on candles and pumpkins – cover any surface (bar carts, bookshelves, the mantle, the coffee table, tray tables, you name it – they’ll look great there)!
Change out Summer scenes for Fall florals, vineyard views, and all the cozy colors. Search Minted for your next great print and just use the frame you already have!
What is your favorite thing about Fall home decor? The colors, the textures, the smells?
