10 Things You Must Do Before Listing Your Home For Sale

In this series, I’m sharing my best tips for what you need to do if you’re thinking of selling your home! Tip #1 is to do a complete home refresh. Before you let this step overwhelm you, let me break it down for you! First, grab a notebook and your favorite pen.

Make a list of each area of your home: Living room, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, basement, and exterior. Now step outside and walk through the front door pretending you’re the buyer. As you walk from room to room, make notes of things you could do to improve each space. You don’t have to spend a ton of money but take notice of things that need some sprucing up or refreshing. Whether it’s a closet that needs organizing, a front door that needs a new coat of paint or a bathroom that could use some updated lighting.
